TIG Welder

Monday-Thursday 6am-4:30pm + Friday OT
Are you a skilled Welder/Fabricator with TIG welding experience? This opportunity to work for an established manufacturing company in the Algona, IA area may be for you! As a TIG Welder you will be responsible for welding, fabrication and assembly of customer specified systems and parts. You may be asked to perform other duties within the production area. Responsibilities:
- TIG stainless steel welding, with some MIG
- Operation of fabrication equipment
- Blueprint reading and use of different measuring tools
- Fabricate and implement all phases of the equipment building process
- Excellent working knowledge as it relates to tools and equipment, mechanical drives, parts lists and conveyor systems
- Comply with all safety, quality, and production requirements and procedures
- Maintain regular and dependable attendance
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- TIG welding experience is required, 6+ months experience preferred
- Decision making and problem solving skills
- Proficient mechanical and math aptitude
- Experience with technical or manufacturing industries preferred
- Blueprint reading experience
- Ability to travel if required to complete projects
- Ability to speak clearly and listen and learn about technical equipment details
