Are you a meticulous and experienced TIG Welder looking for a new opportunity? If so, this job is for you! A custom fabrication company in the Rock Valley, IA area is looking for a TIG Welder to join their growing team! The TIG Welder is responsible for the daily setup and operation of TIG welding to complete production weldment jobs.

Responsibilities:                               

• Plan sequence of steps to perform duties according to blueprints.
• Set up and adjust welding parameters.
• Operate various welding, soldering or brazing equipment.
• Use various precision measuring equipment to check work.
• Operate equipment to grind, file, and adjust fixtures and parts to specifications.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent required; associates degree preferred.
• Previous TIG Welding experience required; AWS TIG Certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as layouts, blueprints, sketches and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and circumference.
• Ability to operate various equipment to include welding equipment, forklift, hoists, hand and power tools.
