Tooling Operator 

$18/hr

1st Shift – Mon–Thurs 6:00am–3:30pm, Friday 6:00am–10:00am

Are you a motivated, detail-oriented manufacturing professional? If so, this position is for you! A local, well-established company in Orange City is looking for a Tooling Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a moderate understanding of manufacturing processes, and basic technical aptitude. 

Responsibilities:
• Clean and prepare composite molds for production
• Maintain molds, fixtures, and other tooling for production use using hand tools and release agents
• Stage tools for daily work and organize racking
• Remove and/or place tools from storage racks as needed
• Communicate with other technicians and engineers regarding concerns or issues to ensure high-quality parts
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow work instructions and safety procedures
• Record work performed and maintain accurate documentation as required
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Manufacturing experience  preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand and/or walk throughout the day and bend, and maneuver as needed
• Ability to work in indoor production areas with exposure to noise and equipment
