Transfer Worker
Tues/Wed & Sat/Sun, 4am-until work is completed, $14.50 base pay, time and half ($21.75) for all hours worked on Sat & Sun.
A local Hatchery in Bancroft, IA is looking for Transfer workers to assist their growing company. As a Transfer Worker, you are responsible for transferring baby chicks, and inspecting and vaccinating embryos.
Responsibilities:
- Transfer and process eggs from boxes onto trays, load trays onto carts.
- Regular inspection of eggs/chicks while incubating.
- Transfer baby chicks and prepare for shipment.
- Regular sanitation of equipment and facilities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 60lbs frequently.
- Ability to lift approx. 13 to 30lbs over the shoulders/head repeatedly.
- Ability to stand for 8+ hours a day.
