Job Description

The Sanford Community Center is seeking a responsible and reliable Part-Time Van Driver to transport kids to and from school in the Before and After School Program.


Pay Rate: $14.00 per hour
Schedule: Part-Time schedule of Mon – Fri mornings and then again in the afternoons.


Responsibilities of the Van Driver:
Safely operate a 15-passenger van
Follow designated routes and adhere to the trip schedule
Ensure the safety of all passengers at all times
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain a clean and orderly vehicle
Report any vehicle issues or incidents immediately
Communicate effectively with staff and program coordinators


Qualifications of the Van Driver:
Must be at least 25 years old
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Must pass a criminal background check
Experience driving larger vehicles or passenger vans preferred
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Dependable, punctual and professional
