Warehouse/Forklift

$17.50/hour

Mon-Fri 6am-5pm

The Warehouse/Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently managing inventory and materials within a warehouse setting. This role involves operating forklifts and other equipment to load, unload, and move goods while ensuring safety and accuracy in inventory management

Responsibilities:
• Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, and unload products and materials.
• Inventory Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing inventory. Conduct regular inventory counts and report discrepancies.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring accuracy in order fulfillment and adherence to quality standards.
• Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Collaboration: Work with warehouse team members and supervisors to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of products.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, equipment usage, and safety checks.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting or operating forklifts is advantageous.
• Valid forklift operator certification is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and the ability to follow safety procedures.
