Warehouse Manager (E-Commerce/Fulfillment)
Monday - Friday (Some weekends required)
Come join a growing business that needs a motivated & experienced Fulfilment Warehouse Manager to lead, plan, organize and monitor their shipping, receiving & warehousing operations. Responsibilities will include:
- Plan and implement initiatives to improve picking, packing, shipping and receiving efficiencies with an emphasis on continuous improvement in the movement and storage of product and components of finished goods.
- Oversee all functions related to logistics for shipping, receiving and warehousing operations in an effort to improve inventory accuracy and on-time delivery of product to external and/or internal customers.
- Develop programs and solutions to improve efficiency of all warehouse functions, and utilization of warehouse space and dock areas.
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
- Champion and lead the inventory and cycle count processes across the facility.
- Participate in contract negotiations with carriers & interface to monitor shipping, invoicing & billing data.
- Develop and administer programs to determine the most advantageous and economical methods of shipment for company products and oversee scheduling of all carriers for domestic/international shipments.
- Prepare schedules of pricing for shipping, submit claims for shipping losses or damage, update freight tariffs as needed, and research claims for shipments that are reported damaged or short.
- Determine KPI's and ensure staff understands and complies with Safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training & staff productivity by coaching, counseling & engaging team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Supply Management
- Previous Warehouse/Shipping and Receiving/Logistics hands on experience at an e-commerce/fulfillment business.
- Experience leading and managing change.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills, detail-oriented and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with employees at all levels.
- Must be able to operate in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Able to establish challenging, productive & achievable goals for direct reports; measure results by establishing checkpoints to track progress.
- Previous experience mentoring, coaching, managing team.
- Strong communication skills & positive, outgoing nature with solid job tenure
