Warehouse Picker-  $17-$20/hr PLUS $4 PIC Pay  (monthly 

3rd Shift: 10PM-6AM, Monday-Friday, every 3rd Saturday.   6am-6pm rotating shift also available. 

With over 100 years in business, Aventure Staffing is hiring for one of the largest family-owned steel service centers in the Midwest. Looking to fill general warehouse positions within the metal production industry. An ideal candidate is familiar with warehouse operations and understands working with steel. Currently seeking Warehouse Pickers that can work as a team member, picking the steel pieces needed per order. Offering full benefits and a variety of work schedule options! 

 Potential Responsibilities:

• Working at heights receiving rail car shipments, reading receiving reports/bills of lading, picking/banding/stacking steel bundles
• Reading a tape measure
• Loading trailers and operation of various machinery
• Operating saws, lasers, plasma cutter, shear, or burn table
• Reading and interpreting blueprints and shop orders
•  Packaging and stacking finished piece

 Requirements:

• Good math skills.
• Able to use both hands for detailed work up to 12 hours.
• Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Able to work in semi-regulated climate controlled environment.
• Able to bend throughout the shift.
• Able to work in dusty work environment.
• Able to stoop throughout the shift.
• Able to lift up to 100lbs occasionally.
