Monday - Friday, 7am-3:30pm *Overtime, Weekends, & Travel are required as needed.

Are you ready for the next step in your welding career? An established metal fabrication company in the Humboldt, IA area is hiring Welder / Fabricators to join their team! As a Welder / Fabricator you will be responsible for building custom designed equipment for a wide range of industries. You will be working as a team, as well as independently, to proficiently weld product designs specific to the customer’s request. Responsibilities:

• Proficient TIG, MIG & Stick welding with the ability to produce food grade welds
• Maintain and operate welding equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Reading blueprints and following project specifications, including 2D & 3D drawings
• Construct weldments and understand how it impacts final assembly
• Follow company’s building standards and tolerances
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
• Safely operate a forklift as needed
• Follow all company’s safety requirements
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements:

• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
• The ability to read a tape measure and other measuring tools
• Must have strong communication skills 
• Must be able to interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
• Excellent attendance and dependability
• Prior TIG welding experience
