Welder 1st & 2nd shifts

First shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th OT on Friday

2nd Shift: Monday- Thursday 3:30pm – 1:30am (OT would fall on Friday if needed): Will train on first shift hours 6am-4pm M-Th until 2nd shift is launched estimated to be in October

We’re looking for a dependable and hardworking Welder to join our team for our Client in Milford, IA. This is a hands-on position where you’ll weld, set up and perform all functions of welding which are essential to our business that meet cosmetic quality standards

Responsibilities:

• Setup and perform welding per prints including (spot welding, robotic welder and MIG welding)
• Any required finishing of the product to meet workmanship standard (grinding and sanding)
• Enter work order data required for labor reporting into the computer system  
• Use inspection equipment and review blueprints to ensure work is meeting or exceeding quality standards
• Maintaining a clean workstation and production floor.
• Work in a manner that emphasizes safety of self and others. Follows all health and safety policies and guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED 
• Proven experience reading blue prints and using inspection equipment/measuring devices
• Ability to understand basic mechanical and manufacturing techniques
• Previous experience with computer skills such as typing, printing and data entry.
• Ability to use math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
