Fabricator/Welder $19/hr plus Depending on Experience
Monday-Friday 7am-5pm available.
Aventure Staffing is seeking Material Handlers to work for a well established salvage yard in Spencer, IA! Training is provided on site, no experience necessary!
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) on scrap metals, including steel, aluminum, and other ferrous/non-ferrous materials.
- Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts using various welding techniques.
- Fabricate metal components and structures as required, based on blueprints or verbal instructions.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Inspect completed work for quality and accuracy, ensuring all metal structures are welded to the required specifications.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of welding and metal fabrication experience
- Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick welding and cutting techniques
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Proficient with hand and power tools
