Welder | $18/hour plus $2/hour 2nd shift premium

Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, Fall/Winter Hours and 6 am to 4 pm Spring/Summer Hours

Evening Shift: Monday-Friday, 3 pm to 12 am

A local and reputable company in Cherokee, IA is hiring a Welder to join their team! This position works to weld, fabricate, read measurements and blueprints according to specifications.  The Welder position may have the possibility for overtime!  Hours include days Monday-Friday!  This is a popular position with only a select number of positions are available. Responsibilities:

• Weld and fabricate various industrial products
• Operate hand tools and grinders
• Read blue prints and measurements

Requirements:

• HS Diploma/GED
• Previous experience in an industrial environment
• Ability to lift 75 lbs
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Previous welding experience preferred
