Welder - $19/hr. DOE

Do you have basic knowledge of welding and are looking for a place to hone your skills? If so, this job is for you!!

An established manufacturer of premium service trucks in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Welder to join their growing team! The Welder needs to have basic knowledge of Gas Metal Arc Welding techniques, know how to read blueprints and work orders, and how to effectively utilize tools such as a tape measure, square, and basic air and hand tools.

Responsibilities:                               

• Be able to apply basic understating in the operation and maintenance of machines and tools used.
• Position, produce, and/or fasten parts in specific relationship to each other according to schedule.
• Produce work that meets customer specifications and company standards.
• Ability to work at different stations as needed, shift from one station to another throughout shift.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements:

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
• Basic Gas Metal Arc Welding experience required; one-year prior welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read, comprehend and follow instructions, work orders, two-dimensional drawings and blueprints.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and complete fraction-decimal conversions.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. frequently.
