Welder
Job Description
Welder | $16-$18+/hour, depending on experience
Monday – Friday, 1st and 2nd shifts available with flexible start times. Overtime is available.
Looking for a guaranteed 40 hours a week? A manufacturing company in Sutherland, IA is hiring a Welder to join their expanding team! This position works in an industrial/warehouse environment to fabricate and weld various industrial products. This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established company in the area that can offer flexibility on your work shift times to accommodate your personal needs. Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints to weld products to customer specifications
- Check and maintain quality of parts throughout manufacturing process
- Set up stock area for parts used in weld assemblies
- Box, package, and tag parts to ensure purchase orders are complete and accurate
Requirements:
- Previous welding experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to work 8-12 hour days
- Ability to lift 50lbs
