Women’s Resident Counselor Assistant  
$15 - $18/hr, based on experience
1:30pm – 9:30pm including every other weekend

A Siouxland non-denominational Christian ministry who has served the community for over 80 years is searching for a Women & Children Shelter Residential Counselor to join their team! The Women’s Resident Counselor Assistant is responsible for providing daily devotions, conducting intakes with potential residents, overseeing the safety of all residents, communication, answering phones, and completing detailed forms.  If you describe yourself as committed to taking care of those in need, fostering a place of mutual respect, supporting, caring and collaborative, then we would love you to consider this position.  You must be willing to sign a Statement of Faith and a statement of Marriage and Sexuality.

Responsibilities:

• Provide daily devotions
• Intakes
• Oversee the safety of all residents
• Supervise activities of women and children
• Answer calls and take detailed messages
• Complete daily forms

Requirements:

• Sign a Statement of Faith and Marriage and Sexuality
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer skills – MS Office
• Effective communication
• Ability to work with people in a variety of circumstances
• Must uphold the standards and guidelines of the organization

Compensation and Benefits:

• $15.00-$18.00/hour
